Starting over...


Although I have yet to identify only a handful of people who take the time to read my blogs, I still thank you for having to done so with the 5 blogs I have posted. It has been 6 months since my last blog and I am really content with starting over again, this time though, there will be changes.
Since my last blog in July, I've slowly been losing weight, and I have adopted some new eating habits. 
One of which I will share with you today. 
With the theme of being mindful of what you put in your mouth, please consider being accountable for what you eat. Although it may not sound all too convenient, writing down what you eat can actually be a really helpful way to kick off those bad eating habits and start fresh! What's even better, is doing it all at the click of a button and wherever you go, as long as you have access to internet!
I have been using the Food and Fitness Journal at www.everydayhealth.com which has incorporated a calorie counter and also estimates your energy requirements so that you can get recommendations on what is your daily requirement to maintain, lose or if need be gain weight. Although this is a fantastic way to start keeping track of how much you eat and calorie count, what I would recommend is to still seek out information on healthy eating habits.This website may not be the most reliable source of information for getting your nutrition advice, but seeking out someone who is (like a dietitian!) is the right way to go.
